Elgin Middlesex London MP Karen Vecchio was officially sworn into Parliament on Wednesday. Vecchio was sworn into the 43rd Parliament after winning the seat for a second term in last month’s Federal election.
Vecchio says in a statement that she is very excited to return to the House of Commons and represent the amazing residents in the riding. She says that she is eager to continue to work to hold the government accountable and work in the best interest of the constituents.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s new expanded cabinet was announced yesterday and has some new faces. There are now 37 members of cabinet, including Trudeau, up from 35.
