The Port Stanley Terminal Rail is kicking off the holiday season with the beginning of their “Santa Treat Train Rides” this weekend. The holiday themed train will leave the station 3 times a day at 11 a.m., 1p.m. and 2:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday until December 22nd.
President of the Railway Dan Vernackt says some treats will be available before the train ride begins.
Vernackt says following roughly a 20 minute train ride to the destination, everyone will be able to get off the train to meet and take pictures with Santa.
Tickets for the train are $15 for adults, $9 for children and kids under 2 are free. Everyone who attends is encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes early as tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
