An event that looks to create awareness around addiction is taking place in St. Thomas this Friday (Nov 29) at Destination Church. “Stage For Change” which is put on by Addiction Services of Thames Valley will encourage shifting people’s thoughts about addiction and recovery through music. The show will feature Mockingbird Junction and Dealerz Choice Duo as the musical guests. “Possible Videos” will also be shown at the event which consist of stories or recovery, personal growth and addiction journeys as well as music videos relating to addiction and recovery.
Communications & Community Engagement Coordinator Jillian Driessen says they want people to leave the event feeling hopeful.
Doors for the free event will open at 6:30 p.m. and pizza as well as other snacks and refreshments will be available.
