On Friday, members of the community will be coming together for a climate strike, joining hundreds of similar strikes around the world.
They’ll be meeting at the CASO Station in St. Thomas at 12pm, then marching down Talbot Street to City Hall.
Sandra Nesbitt will be part of the Climate Strike and she hopes they can bring awareness to an important issue.
Nesbitt explains that Julie Berry deserves a lot of credit for her work in collecting names and inviting people to join them on Friday.
She emphasizes that the march isn’t a big commitment, but is a big show of support, as they take a stand for what they believe in.
