Port Stanley will be kicking off their Dickens’ Days Weekend this Friday with their annual Santa Claus Parade. The entire weekend that is filled with holiday cheer and festivities will begin Friday (Nov 29) night at 7 p.m. with the parade that begins at Foodland and then makes its way over the bridge and down to Mackies. Once the parade ends, everyone is invited to gather at Mackies for free hot chocolate and cookies.
The holiday themed fun doesn’t stop on Friday night as many local businesses will be participating in the Port Stanley Dickens’ Days Weekend and will be holding open houses, sales, and supplying free gifts to customers.
Free horse and carriage rides will also be available throughout the weekend as well as fire warming stations. People roaming throughout Port Stanley and visiting the shops will also get a chance to hear the Dickens carolers as well as meet the Town Crier.
