St. Thomas City Manager Wendell Graves has recently returned from a trip to Honduras where he worked to help the local municipalities better develop their tourism opportunities. Graves took two weeks vacation time to volunteer with the Canadian Executive Services Overseas (CESO) to provide his professional assistance through a translator to help develop their strategic plans.
At the end of the second week Graves says that everyone was happy with the progress of the strategic plan.
Graves says that the work that he and fellow staff members do in St. Thomas was helpful to them in Honduras
Graves says that Honduras has a great number of tourism opportunities across their whole country and sometimes their opportunities are overlooked because they live them each day.
Graves says that he looks forward to taking part in another CESO trip in the future.
