The Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni are returning to St. Thomas next spring for another charity hockey game. The Canadian Mental Health Association Elgin Branch has announced that they will be bringing the alumni back for another charity game against the St. Thomas Police Service on April 4th of 2020. CHMA has announced that Inn Out of the Cold St. Thomas – Elgin will be the recipient of this year’s funds.
CMHA Elgin brought the Leafs alumni to the Joe Thornton Community Centre last year in a highly anticipated sold out game which saw them raise over $40,000.
Wendel Clark, Darcy Tucker and Shayne Corson headlined last year’s team. CHMA Elgin is again already planning for next year’s event to feature a full days worth of activities leading up to the evening game. myFM will have updates on next year’s game as they become available.
