A St. Thomas resident is thousands of dollars richer right before Christmas thanks to a Lotto Max win. Kerry Illes purchased a lotto ticket, and saying yes to Encore paid off for him in the sum of $100,000.
Illes matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the December 10th Lotto Max draw to take home the prize.
The winning ticket was purchased at Family Mart on Talbot Street in St. Thomas.
