A 33 year old London man has been charged following a roll-over collision that took place on South Edgeware Road in St. Thomas. Police report that the incident occurred early Wednesday (Jan 1) morning around 2 a.m. When officers arrived on scene the vehicle was found abandoned and the K-9 unit was called in to assist.
It was later discovered that the driver had been picked up and transported to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for medical attention.
As a result of the collision, the 33 year old man has been charged with impaired operation of a vehicle and exceeding 80 mg of alcohol. He was released with a future court date.
