Marijuana edibles, extracts and topicals will be available in Ontario as early as Monday. The Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) says the products will be available in physical retailers beginning on January 6th and will include a large number of vaping products, some edibles and teas.
The purchase of edibles, extracts and topicals will not be available online until January 16th. Marijuana beverages will also be made available to the public in late February or early March, with cannabis tea being the only beverage available from the OCS beginning next week.
The OCS is hoping the rollout of edibles will help them combat the illegal market. Cannabis edibles, extracts and topicals became legal in Canada in October of last year.
