The St. Thomas Police are investigating after keys that were taken from a local business resulted in a white Ford F150 pick up truck being stolen. On Monday (Jan 13) sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. the truck that was parked in a spot in the alley that is located behind the Grand Central apartments was stolen.
The owner of the vehicle arrived to work at around 10 a.m. through the rear door of a business in the area. At around 1 p.m. the owner noticed that his coat and keys to the truck had been stolen from a closet just inside the unlocked back door of the business. When he went outside he then discovered that his truck was missing as well.
At the time of the theft the truck had a licence plate that read AL56759 attached to it. If you have any information about this theft or know the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle you are asked to contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers.
