The provincial government is making sure the spring bear hunt is here for good.
The announcement was made by Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry John Yakabuski Friday at the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters office.
He says bear hunting itself is a big part of the hunting industry in Ontario.
Wildlife Biologist Keith Munro says regulations around bear hunting are important, and he’s glad there’s rules in place.
