The countdown to Super Bowl Sunday is on and it’s shaping up to be a busy day for local restaurants. One of the the hot spots for football coverage will be Legends Tavern.
We spoke with Owner Andy Lerikos who says the Super Bowl has become almost like a holiday.
Lerikos estimates between hosting an event for the big game and take out orders, a couple of thousand chicken wings will be sold.
It’s being predicted that over a billion chicken wings will be eaten in North America this weekend. As for the result of the game, Lerikos is picking Kansas City to lift the Lombardi Trophy in a close game.
Those hoping to catch the big game at Legends will have to purchase tickets soon, as Lerikos says they are down to a couple dozen tickets.
