The Thames Valley District School Board has sent a note to parents regarding the coronavirus.
In an email that went out to parents and guardians, board officials say that after an update from public health officials there are no cases currently under investigation in the Thames Valley region. School boards have not been directed to take any action at this time. Now, a list of precautions have been released by Ontario’s Medical Officer of Health and they include washing your hands frequently, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze and stay home if you’re feeling ill.
The Thames Valley District School Board has said they will continue to monitor developments and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
Additional tips and contact information for all local health units can be found by visiting the special website that has been created by the province.
