Following last years generous donations, Given and Myrtle shops will once again be collecting menstrual products for those in need in our community. Until March 7th, anyone who visits either shop and makes a donation, will receive a $10 voucher for the shop. Those that stop in to both shops with donations will receive a $10 coupon for each store.
Last year Given and Myrtle were able to donate 19 industrial sized bags full of menstrual products to local agencies and with your help they can exceed last years totals and help women and girls in our community.
Menstrual products are one of the most requested items at food banks, yet the least donated as many people don’t realize that these products are needed just as much as other hygiene products.
Although the initiative is called “Tampon Tuesday”, you can stop into either store any day during regular business hours to make a donation, either big or small.
