The annual Springwater Maple Syrup Festival returns from March 6th – 29th. The festival runs from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on weekends, during March Break and new this year, will open on the PD Day Friday.
Throughout the festival you can learn about the history of maple syrup production in Canada, go on a guided wagon tour through the forest past tapped sugar maples, enjoy pancakes at the pancake house and much more.
Community Outreach Technician Emily Febrey says the Maple Syrup Festival has reached generations of families in Elgin County.
Febrey says that the festival is a fun, family friendly atmosphere that people of all ages can enjoy. Admission to the festival is $8 for adults and $4 for kids. For more information such as which events are taking place each weekend, you can look below.
