The St. Thomas Police are asking for the public’s help after a vehicle was stolen from the lane way of a home on Dunkirk Drive Monday afternoon. Police report that the theft took place sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The STPS believe that the thieves were scared off from a different vehicle they were attempting to steal after the car alarm sounded. The owner of that vehicle reports slight damage to the door but no entry was gained.
Thieves then went to a truck parked across the street and were able to steal that vehicle. Police are now looking for a truck described as a 2005 grey Ford F150 with license plate AK41720 attached to it at the time of the theft.
