Women who have helped clear a path to gender equality will be getting a unique salute from myFM. International Women’s Day is coming up on Sunday and you’ll get the chance to celebrate with your favourite female artists.
Program Director Sara Johnston says for the first time in its history, myFM stations around the province will feature a 100 per cent female playlist.
In addition to great music, the day will be filled with stories and facts about Canadian women.
Johnston says we tend to soak up so much from American media that Canadian heroes tend to be forgotten.
