St. Thomas Public Library is helping to beat that March Break boredom with their March Break at the Library: Amazing Race event. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 16th kids will have the opportunity to participate in an Amazing Race style program running each day of March Break until 4 p.m. Each day of the week will focus on a different country.
The library has partnered with the St. Thomas-Elgin Local Immigration Partnership and the YWCA Settlement Services to bring the theme that will feature countries represented by families living in the community.
Library Services Program Coordinator Darlene Vreman says kids that attend will be given a “passport” and get asked to complete 3 tasks each day.
Vreman says the event is great for the entire family. For more information, you can click here.
