With March Break coming up next week, here are some fun activities and events taking place throughout Elgin County. The East Elgin Community Complex will be holding free skates all week from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Those looking to get their craft on can stop into the Elgin Centre each day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for free themed arts and crafts including Harry Potter Art, St. Patrick’s Day, Fun Foam Crafts and more.
Given Shop will also be holding many family friendly events including story times, crafts, family games and puzzles each day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for each activity is a $2 donation to the St. Thomas Food Bank. Pre-paying is not required, but pre-registration is. To do so stop into the store, or give them call to let them know which activities you’d like to register for.
Canadale Nurseries will be holding their March Break Kids Club all week next week from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each day will feature a different plant themed craft with cost being $5 to $10 depending on the craft.
Family Flowers will also be holding free activities from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day including a scavenger hunt, visits with the baby goats and much more.
