They are following the lead of area municipalities and closing many of their facilities as well as putting new measures in place for the facilities that will stay open.
At this time all Elgin County Public Libraries as well as the Heritage Centre will be closed until further notice. Library due dates will be extended and the Library will continue to offer a range of online tools and resources during this time.
The County Administration Building is scheduled to remain open to the public at this time. Residents are encouraged to avoid all but essential trips to the County office. Whenever possible, you are asked to reach County staff by phone or email.
