A 15 year old has been charged with multiple offences after driving a vehicle into a house around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. No injuries were reported by the driver or the residents however the structure suffered damage to the front porch and garage door as a result of the collision.
Police report that the driver showed signs of impairment at the scene and was taken into custody by officers. Tests done at the police station indicated the youth was impaired by drug.
As a result the youth was charged with Operation While Impaired by Drug, Dangerous Operation, Drive Motor Vehicle-no license, Drug Possession and Breach of Release Conditions. The youth was later released on an Undertaking with a Youth Court Date into the custody of an adult.
