With the province recently limiting public gatherings, funerals homes in Ontario are continuing to hold services but limiting the number of attendees to no more than 10. Shawn Jackson Funeral Home in St. Thomas is asking families to have a private service to limit the size of the gathering. Shawn Jackson says to help accommodate this request, the home is offering a streaming video option on their website for families and friends.
Jackson says they have offered a video option in the past and this is an enhancement to that service.
Jackson says the COVID-19 restrictions have altered considerably the manner in which funeral homes now handle a family’s wishes in a safe environment.
