Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced they are expanding the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB). Trudeau says they are topping up the pay of essential workers making less than $2,500 a month.
The Prime Minister says anyone who makes under $1,000 a month, those who can’t work seasonal jobs this year, or if you’ve run out of EI you can apply for the CERB. Trudeau adds more details for post-secondary students and businesses will be announced shortly.
