The St. Thomas Police Service are asking for the public’s help following an attempted break and enter to a local animal clinic early Tuesday morning. Police say that an alert neighbour called to report hearing glass smash around 5:30 a.m. and seeing a man dressed in all black running away from the clinic located on Princess Ave.
When officers arrived on scene they discovered that a brick had been thrown through the glass front door of the business, however no entry was made as an interior gate pulled across the entry stopped the thief.
The STP are asking anyone who may have information about the break and enter or who saw anything suspicious in the area to please contact them or Crime Stoppers.
