The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital has announced that it is expanding access to its COVID-19 assessment centre. This comes as a result of the province increasing testing to support and monitor more actively essential workers and anyone who wishes to be tested with or without symptoms.
Residents of St. Thomas and Elgin will no longer need a referral to visit; however, they do require an appointment. You can schedule an appointment by calling 519-631-2030 ext. 6210.
The centre is now open longer hours, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Entrance to the assessment centre is off Hepburn Avenue. Parking is available and the centre is fully accessible.
