With St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital expanding access to its COVID-19 assessment centre this week, hospital president and CEO Robert Biron says there is plenty of capacity to undertake increased testing on area residents with or without symptoms.
Biron says that at this time STEGH has the ability to do about 12 swabs an hour.
The assessment centre is now open six hours per day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can schedule an appointment with no referral by calling 519-631-2030 ext. 6210.
