The St. Thomas Police have laid charges in connection to the fatal motor vehicle collision that took place on Sunset Drive.
The collision occurred on Saturday, May 16th when a vehicle being driven southbound on Sunset Drive by a 59 year old woman crossed the yellow line into the path of a group of oncoming motorcycles killing 60 year old Darcy Krauza from Courtright, Ontario and injuring his 22 year old passenger.
As a result of an investigation conducted by the STPS Accident Reconstruction Unit and the Criminal Investigation Unit, 59 year old Elizabeth Sweezie has been charged with one count Dangerous Operation Causing Death and one count Operation While Impaired Causing Death.
She was released on an Undertaking and will appear in court at a later date.
