With St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital resuming non-elective procedures and surgeries, there is a need to maintain inventories of blood. So, for the first time during the COVID-19 pandemic, Canadian Blood Services is holding a blood donor clinic in St. Thomas, as territory manager Stephanie Wilkinson explains.
Wilkinson says the clinic will look and feel different due to coronavirus safety precautions.
The clinic will run from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday (June 10) at the YMCA on High Street. You need to book your appointment time online at blood.ca.
