With outdoor patios now allowed to open throughout most of the province, the St. Thomas Downtown Development Board is moving forward with their plans of bringing pop up patios to the city.
DDB Chair Earl Taylor says that the pop up patios have been ordered and should be ready in the next couple weeks.
The 4 patios will be set up throughout the downtown at the St. Thomas Roadhouse Bar and Grill, Streamliners Espresso Bar, the Bistro, and Bella Jacks.
Taylor says Why Not Cookies will also be getting a seating area.
Taylor says that the establishments that already have an existing liquor license will also be able to serve alcohol on their patios
Taylor adds that each establishment will be responsible for supplying their own tables and seating that comply with social distancing measures.
