The Aylmer Police are continuing to investigate following the theft of rifles from a local gun shop. Officers responded to a break and enter around 8:57 a.m. on June 17th at Guns and Gadgets located on Raglan Street.
Initial investigation revealed that sometime between 1 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., unknown persons broke into the store via rooftop and stole three rifles (Beretta CX4, ISSC MK22 and Ruger 10/22). A further look into the incident revealed an additional firearm (Suomi M31 rifle) was also stolen during the break and enter.
As police continue to investigate, they ask that anyone who may have seen anything suspicious the night of the break and enter or know the whereabouts of the stolen rifles to please contact them or Crime Stoppers.
