It’s the one question on the minds of many parents, when can my son or daughter get back to playing minor sports? That concern was put to Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture and MPP Jeff Yurek last week at a funding announcement at the Elgin Heritage Centre.
The decision to return will be up to the chief medical officer of health, says MacLeod.
MPP Yurek stressed a return to minor sports will be a consideration in Phase 3 of Ontario’s re-opening plan.
Premier Doug Ford is expected to make an announcement regarding the move to Phase 3 sometime this week.
