Today will be the last day of a brief stretch of seasonal and, for many, quite pleasant temperatures, before humidity and storm risk return to the area. So far this week has featured mild weather compared to the days of sauna-like conditions that dominated much of early July.
But the Weather Network reports that Wednesday will be the last chance to enjoy it as a surge of warm weather will once again bring temperatures feeling in the mid to upper 30s, ramping up Thursday and peaking over the weekend.
With humidex values it will feel well above 30, and actually closer to 40 for parts of the southwest.
The Weather Network does report that unlike the last stretch, it’ll be less arid, with more chances of storms, beginning with a widespread risk on Thursday.
