myFM has learned the city is going to re-evaluate its decision to keep Jaycees pool closed this summer due to COVID-19 restrictions. At the July 13 council meeting, Coun. Lori Baldwin-Sands requested the city’s emergency management team re-look at the possibility of opening up the pool for the month of August. City manager Wendell Graves the matter will be under consideration this week.
In light of the hot, humid summer we’ve experienced so far, Baldwin-Sands says the city needs to have something for the kids and the families of this community to do.
