Southwestern Public Health is reporting this morning (Sunday) three new COVID-19 case in St. Thomas. Yesterday a new case was reported in Bayham and it brings to four the number of ongoing cases in St. Thomas and Elgin as of this weekend. There are two ongoing cases in Woodstock. Earlier this week, St. Thomas and Elgin had no reported cases after a single case in Dutton Dunwich was resolved.
In the Southwestern Public Health coverage area 13,328 people have been tested to date , with 12,998 negative results and 239 still pending.
There has not been a COVID-19 hospitalization at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital since April 19.
