For the second consecutive day, Southwestern Public Health is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 in its coverage area. Two new cases have been reported today (Saturday) in Aylmer with another in Bayham. The fourth case is in Tillsonburg.
St. Thomas remains at six active cases, with four each in Aylmer and Bayham and two in Tillsonburg. One individual is in ICU at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital.
In the Southwestern Public Health coverage area 14,469 people have been tested to date , with 14,061 negative results and 304 pending.
There have been 38,543 cumulative confirmed cases across the province with 2,759 deaths, five of those in the health unit coverage area.
