The 2nd annual myFM All Hands-On Deck Food Drive is taking place next Thursday (August 13th) at three locations throughout Elgin County.
myFM will be live on location at the Real Canadian Superstore in St. Thomas, Miller’s Valu-Mart in Aylmer and at Foodland in Port Stanley from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., accepting nonperishable food items, back to school snacks and monetary donations.
Along with our generous sponsors, the myFM team will be on site collecting donations for the St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank, Destination Church’s Brown Bag Lunch Program, Eat 2 Learn, the Corner Cupboard in Aylmer and the Port Stanley Community Food Bank.
Samantha Wakefield, General Manager of 94.1 myFM says this years All Hands-On Deck Food Drive may look a little different, but the goal is still the same.
Wakefield adds that last year we were able to make the single largest one time donations to our area food banks, and with the continued ongoing support from our community, we’ll once again be able to support those that are in need during this difficult season in all our lives.
