For the second straight day, Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new COVID-19 cases in its coverage area.
And, the number of resolved cases again took a significant jump. The health unit is reporting nine more cases resolved today (Sunday) bringing to 181 the number of resolved cases.
As of this morning, there are 42 ongoing cases with 19 in Aylmer, 13 in Bayham, five in Tillsonburg and five in St. Thomas. One individual was admitted to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Aug. 11.
Overall there have been 47 confirmed cases in individuals in the 50-59 age bracket, 39 cases in the 20-29 bracket and 23 in the 10-19 age category.
There have been seven cases in children under the age of nine.
