For the 5th day in a row, Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new cases of COVID-19.
Additionally, 3 cases have been marked as resolved in Aylmer and 1 in Bayham.
There are now only 12 cases remaining in the health units coverage area with 6 still in Aylmer, 4 in Bayham and 2 in Woodstock.
Of the 12 ongoing cases, 8 individuals contracted the virus as a result of close contact, 2 via workplace contact, 1 from travel and 1 unknown transmission.
There are still 254 cumulative cases across the SWPH region, with 237 now resolved.
Ontario is reporting 114 new cases of COVID-19 today, and one new death.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says 30 of the province’s 34 public health units are reporting 5 or fewer new cases, with 18 reporting no new cases.
She says the province processed nearly 25,100 tests over the previous day.
