Southwestern Public Health this morning (Wednesday) is reporting a second confirmed case of COVID-19 in Elgin county with a new case in Central Elgin. That is in addition to three new cases reported in Woodstock.
The ongoing Elgin case is in Bayham and the number of reported cases in Woodstock has now risen to seven.
Four of the nine cases involve individuals 20 to 29 years of age with another four in the 50-69 age bracket.
One of the new cases is an individual aged 80 to 89.
The number of resolved cases remains at 248.
