As the St. Thomas Police Service prepares to launch their 90 day Body Cam pilot project, they are asking city residents to complete a quick survey.
Corporate Communications Coordinator Tanya Calvert says the police service is hoping to gather information from St. Thomas residents both before and after the pilot is completed.
Calverts says the STPS is stressing that only those who pay taxes to the City of St. Thomas should fill out the survey as roads in Lynhurst, Central Elgin, Aylmer, Southwold Township or any other jurisdiction in Elgin County are patrolled by the OPP or Aylmer Police and not St. Thomas officers.
The deadline to complete the survey is October 1st, the same day the 90 pilot project will begin.
The link to complete the survey can be found here.
