Hospice of Elgin has launched a new program offering individual counselling to grieving families, caregivers, and palliative patients.
Laura Sherwood, Hospice of Elgin, says the no-cost service is now available.
Sherwood says the counselling is available for whoever requires the support.
She adds that it is an especially valuable service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hospice of Elgin has started the 2-year process to design, build, fundraise, and operate a 15,000 square foot hospice palliative care hub serving St. Thomas and Elgin.
