While the province is reporting 746 new COVID-19 cases this morning (Tuesday), Southwestern Public Health advises there is no change in the number of confirmed cases in its coverage area.
There are five ongoing cases, with a single case each in St. Thomas and Central Elgin, two in Ingersoll and one in East Zorra-Tavistock.
Three of the cases are individuals under the age of 40 and all but one case involve women.
The staff case at Caressant Care on Mary Bucke remains active.
Currently, none of the cases involve hospitalizations and since the pandemic began, 91.6 per cent of cases in the health unit’s coverage area did not require hospitalization.
The number of resolved cases remains at 267.
