An investigation by the St. Thomas Police Service Street Crimes Unit has resulted in $10,000 worth of cocaine destined for the streets of St. Thomas being seized.
Police report that during a traffic stop that took place Thursday around 4:30 p.m., 45 year old Colleen Vankoughnett of St. Thomas was arrested and is now facing several drug related charges.
A search warrant of her residence was later executed and police were able to locate and seize more drugs, drug cooking equipment, scales and an imitation firearm.
As a result, the 45 year old has been charged with one count Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, one count Drug Production and three counts Breach of Release Conditions.
