The Boston Bruins announced last Wednesday they have signed forward Greg McKegg to a one-year, two-way deal. For the 28-year-old St. Thomas native, it will be his seventh NHL team since being drafted in the third round by the Maple Leafs in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. McKegg says in the past it has been a smooth transition suiting up with a new club.
Last season, McKegg played in 53 games with the New York Rangers, netting five goals and four assists.
