Ontario is reporting 827 new cases of COVID-19 this morning (Tuesday) while Southwestern Public Health is advising of two new case in Woodstock and two resolved, one each in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.
The number of ongoing cases is holding steady at 16, with ten in Woodstock, four in Aylmer and single cases in Ingersoll and Blandford-Blenheim.
One individual is currently hospitalized in ICU.
There are ongoing cases involving a staff member at Chartwell Long-Term Care Residence in Aylmer and Secord Trails in Ingersoll.
Eleven of the cases involve individuals under the age of 50.
The number of resolved cases climbs to 290.
Over the weekend, the assessment centre at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital conducted 166 tests.
Back to the provincial numbers, 23,900 tests were processed Monday.
Four deaths were reported, three of them being long-term care home residents and the fourth an individual under the age of 40.
