The Elgin County OPP are continuing to investigate after a vehicle struck a building early Wednesday morning in West Lorne.
Police says that around 1:21 a.m., the OPP along with West Elgin Fire and EMS responded to a report of a vehicle striking a building at the intersection of Graham Road and Main Street.
It is reported that at the time of the collision, the vehicle was traveling northbound on Graham Road when it crossed over Main Street and collided with the brick building at 225 Graham Road (Corner Consignments), causing extensive damage to both the building and vehicle.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 23 year old Fingal man was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
