Ontario is reporting 834 new cases of COVID-19 this morning (Wednesday) while Southwestern Public Health is advising of one new case and two resolved.
The number of ongoing cases has slipped to 15, with nine in Woodstock, four in Aylmer and single cases in Ingersoll and Blandford-Blenheim.
One individual is currently hospitalized in ICU.
There are ongoing cases involving a staff member at Chartwell Long-Term Care Residence in Aylmer and Secord Trails in Ingersoll.
Eleven of the cases are individuals under the age of 50.
The number of resolved cases climbs to 292.
The assessment centre at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital conducted 188 tests on Monday.
