Ontario is reporting 1,015 new cases of COVID-19 this morning (Saturday) while Southwestern Public Health is advising of two new cases and a similar number resolved. There is a new case in Bayham and another in Woodstock. The two resolved cases are in Aylmer.
The number of ongoing cases remains at 16, with 13 in Woodstock, and one each in Aylmer, Bayham and Tillsonburg.
There are no hospitalizations at this time.
There is an ongoing case involving a staff member at Secord Trails in Ingersoll.
Fourteen of the cases are individuals under the age of 50, with 3 of those under 20 years of age.
The number of resolved cases climbs to 301.
The assessment centre at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital conducted 165 tests on Thursday.
Back to the provincial numbers, there are 325 new cases in Toronto, 282 in Peel, 94 in Ottawa and 88 in York Region. There are 798 more resolved cases and over 41,900 tests completed yesterday.
