The London District Catholic School Board has announced a positive case of COVID-19 coming out of Assumption Catholic Elementary School in Aylmer.
The positive case was confirmed by Southwestern Public Health and parents/guardians and staff in the Assumption community have been notified of the case.
The LDCSB has said that Assumption will remain open and school buses will continue to operate.
SWPH is currently investigating the case and is in the process of identifying close contacts.
SWPH investigators will only contact students and staff identified as a close contacts. If someone is not contacted by the SWPH investigators, they are not considered to be at risk.
